One of the greatest things about living in central Europe and in a small country, it makes it pretty easy to travel to other countries. During the summer, we had friends visiting Italy and it’s about an hour drive to the Italian border from where we live. Since we were meeting them in Venice, we opted to take a bus there, which isn’t a horribly long commute, but we ran into some issues. From here, we had a bus transfer in Trieste, but since our first bus was late, naturally we missed our connection. And boy was it such a task for the bus company to figure out what to do and there was a language barrier that wasn’t working in our favor. You’d think it would be as easy as just getting us onto another bus, instead, they bought us a train ticket since they didn’t have any other scheduled buses that day for that route. [Read more…]
Photo Diary #1 | Berlin
OK! I’m excited to start my new series on the blog since I’ve recently been trying to get into the habit of organizing and editing my pictures from previous trips. The last couple of weeks have been dedicated to going through the tons of picture folders that I’ve just dumped into my computer and organizing them. My whole routine with pictures would be to upload them to my computer, delete them off my camera and that’s it. Never really touch them except maybe a couple I’ll share to Instagram. I have so many pictures to share from various trips that I’ll even be sharing our cross-country road trip from 2016. [Read more…]
