How about we give crying babies a break?
With a now very active and curious 14-month-old, whenever I fly, I become more observant about the people around me when I’m taking a flight somewhere. It can be totally stressful as a parent AND for a baby to travel in something where you’re limited on space and movement. My greatest fear with flying with little miss was her ears not adjusting the high altitude. We took her on her first flight when she was 4 months old and I had everything ready from the various blog posts to alleviate the pressure in her ears; bottle (extra precaution), binky, I was nursing at the time, so boob was ready. We were shocked when she just fell asleep before the plane even took off and she was out the entire time. We called that a win. [Read more…]
