If you follow me on twitter/facebook, you know that I was on the hunt for a new planner to help me stay organized with not only life stuff, but my blog needs as well. I run two blogs and having a planner to keep track of posts is an absolute must. This past year has been a very inconsistent for blogging, but I have slowly started taking things full on. And now that I’m more dedicated towards staying on top of things, I needed a good one.
I decided to get Whitney English’s Day Designer, she just released her 2015 planners on September 15 on etsy and you can bet, I was quick to purchase mine.
What I Love About It
- There’s extra pages in the beginning of the planner, where you can do some goal setting, write out your passions, and even a spot for your victories. It’s all great inspiration to refer back to as the year goes along.
- The daily layout, every day has a page, which is something I needed really bad. It gives me more room to jot things down and any other ideas I may have. It even has an area where you can write the “top 3” of the day and ‘daily gratitude’.
- There’s a quote/proverb at the top of every page, just a little inspiration to kickstart your day.
- The clean look of just the whole planner in general and the layout
What I Used Before
For 2014, I ordered a planner from Erin Condren, I had no issues with it, but I wanted to seek out a different one for the coming year. The main thing that Erin Condren’s planner didn’t have are pages for each day, so sometimes it was tough trying squeeze everything in. I love how colorful her planners are and you have the ability to customize it. I still have the rest of the year with my lovely Erin Condren planner and then it’s onto the next chapter for the planner world 😉
Quite a few have mentioned Mama Miss planners and one that I’ve looked into, were her planners specifically for blogging. They are printables you can purchase from her site for about $7, which is awesome. And then you can have Staples bind them altogether for cheap, from what I heard. I’m trying weigh out if it’s ridiculous of me to have two planners.
Is there a planner you love to use, please share in the comments below!
